Washington DC, June 2021 — Empire Leasing today announced that Michael Dahan was named Chief Operating Officer (COO). Empire Leasing has also added Tara Berger as Vice President of Property Management and Tenant Relations, and John Mastrianni as Vice President of Operations.
As Chief Operating Officer, Dahan will lead a dynamic team responsible for building new tools and approaches to improve services and maximize tenant retention. Since joining Empire Leasing as CFO in 2019, Dahan has built the tools and strategies that have made the back-office, lease administration and accounting team a solid, best-practice support base for the company. In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, he will continue to develop innovative solutions for Empire Leasing to better address the needs of our tenants and the continued growth of the portfolio.
Michael Dahan previously served as CFO and CEO of, and consulted for, several organizations, specializing in the management of assets and teams spread out over multiple locations. He believes that people management and the proper use of technology are the key to solving the specific challenges of this type of organizations.
Tara Berger will lead the company’s Property Management team and is sending a strong signal that the organization renewed its commitment to tenant relations. Berger has spent more than two decades driving management strategies at leading property management firms. Berger has her CPM®, RPA® and LEED Green Associate® accreditations. In addition, John Mastrianni has joined Empire Leasing to lead the Operations team of building engineers and maintenance personnel. He brings 30 years of experience in team leadership roles in several industries, with a focus on team building and facilities management. “Long term capital expense programs go hand-in-hand with a daily attention to detail, visits, checklists and team efforts. With training, follow-through, and technology, we will improve quality of service and our work environment. This is an exciting time for Empire Leasing”, says Mastrianni.
